A unique global networking platform
The World Ecological Forum, founded in 2009, is an independent international platform for addressing ecological concerns.
World Ecological Forum - a non-profit organisation - was initiated by Alec and Sari Arho Havrén. The eco-municipality of Gotland, under the direct administration of the Swedish state, supports the organisation financially. The Executive Steering Committee commenced its work in August 2009. However, visionary work and preparations have been on-going for years.
