Marcus Puettmer received an academic degree in Economical Engineering (Diplom-Wirtschaftsingenieur) at University of Karlsruhe. He is running his own offices of Ingenieurgesellschaft Püttmer mbH and ventury GmbH Energieanlagen with commissions in Europe, USA, Australia, Asia and Africa.
The engineering portfolio consist demanding engineering works for prominent architectural works such as the Götz head office Würzburg 1995, The Parliament Building in Berlin; 2000, Sony Center in Berlin; 1998 – 2001, Hugo Boss head quarter, Metzingen; 1999 – 2002, and the Clocktower in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, which is currently under construction.
Besides assisting in architectural projects the portfolio includes several biogas plants in Germany, Switzerland, Poland, USA, Australia, Belgium etc, starting in 1995.
One of the first fields in sustainable energy was the planning and the construction of wind farms in Germany, Hungary and Italy, starting in 1992.
